Canadore College Experience

For my last blogging assignment, I decided to write about my year at Canadore College. This year was a great experience. I met a lot of people , including international people, and I learn English. I will never forget people I met there because we've shared a biug part of our life together. I hope you a good futur and see you another time. Thank you teacher, Susan, Kelly, Jean, Wendy for the mervellous year. I had a lot of fun with you. Have a good summer holidays!

I want to say to everybody to go at this school because it's very funny.

Sunday , April 6th

This day was a stressfull day for me. Why? I'm gonna tell you why. As you know, Montreal Canadiens is my favorite hockey team, so they won their last season game. With this victory , there were a chance to finish the season 1st of the Eastern division but it depend of an other game. If Pittsburgh Penguins lose the game , their will be 1st, so this day I was watching this game carefully. The game seems very long. But you know what!? The Penguins lose, so my Canadiens finish the season 1st in the Eastern division. I'm so proud of this team. They are now in playoff against Boston Bruins. Now we have to support our team and maybe we will have a Stanley Cup to Montreal this year.

ABITIBI

When I listen to people from Montreal or other places, they think that life in Abitibi is boring, but they just don't know what they are talking about. Life in Abitibi has several advantages but also disadvantages and some places to visit.

Maybe you think that living in this little place has no good points but it's totally false. It's quiet and calm, so you can sleep with the window open. You are neart o your work; you don't havt to leave your home three hours before your work because we don't have a lot of traffic. At school everybody knows everybody, so if you do somthing bad, the day after everybody knows what you did. You know your neighbour, and if you are in trouble, they are always there to help you. We have also space to do four wheels in the summer and snowmobiling in winter. In addition, the landscape is beautiful.

We have also some places to visit. You can go see the Cathedral in Amos. The architecture is beautiful. Le Refuge Pageau is a place where a man brings hurt animals and takes care of them. You can go visit this place. L’école du rang 2, is a old school and there people who make a sketch of a old day of school. It’s very interesting. Le parc d’Aiguebelle is a place where you can do canoeing, camping, fishing, skiing and more. We also have the big musical comedy, Le Paradis du Nord. It’s a story about Abitibi. It’s very beautiful and interesting.

There are not only good points to living there. There are also some disadvantages. We are far from huge services and health specialists. We have at least six or eight hours of travel from Montreal. Montreal is the nearest place to us. We don’t have big shopping malls, and no common transport.

In conclusion, I think there are a lot of positive points to living in Abitibi and many things to do. If you have never goes, you need to go, and quickly!

Everybody has a passion somthing that you like more than everything. For me it's the hockey. I'm gonna tell you more about my passion , my favorite team , and my favorite player.

This sport take a lot of place in my life. I can't imagine my life without hockey. This sport permit me to get out my frustration , to make new friends and keep me in shape. Also I can't think about other things than school. The atmosphere between the player in the room is very energetic , and when we go to tournament it's also very fun.

For people who really know me , they probably know which team is my favorite. for sure it's the Montreal Canadiens. I like this team because it's the only one quebecoise team, but a long time ago there was also Nordic of Quebec. Not a lot of people believe in this team, but me I also believe in. There are a lot of young player and I think that eventually they can win an other Stanley Cup.

My favorite hockey player is in this team and his name is Tomas Plekanec. He is a center , 25 years old and he was a 4th choice in 2001. This season he score 29 goals , 39 assits for a total of 68 points. He is a player that nobody expected to be a big player but now he is. I admire him for his perseverance.

You can say what you want , hockey is the best sport ever and Tomas Plekanec play on a winner team.

Dogs vs Cats

Cats and dogs are just simple pets, but have you ever thought about things that they have in common or not? One difference is the kind of activity of each. Cats don't move a lot. They like to sleep and be lazybut dogs are more active. They like to go outside, catch a ball and run in the grass. Another difference is that cats like to be alone. They can live even if the master is not there for a couple of days. In contrast, dogs need to have someone. they are very dependant. There are also a few similarities. They are both well known for their popularity as domestical pets. Dogs ans cats, even if you are an adult or a young child , can be good therapy for you. They are animals that you can speak with and tell what's wrong. They both give birth to multiple babies and feed them when they born. those are the biggest differences between dogs and cats.

Player's Chamber

One of my dream is to visit the dressing room of my favorite hockey team : Montreal Canadiens. I'm going to describe their room. I push open the door and now my dream begin. The first thing that you can see its the bench and shelf all around the room. And also , there are picture on the wall. On the right , there are a white board with a draw of the ice on it where the coach can explain some tricks. When you move from the left you can see many televisions. In the middle of the room , on the floor , there are a big sign of the team. You can also see the equipment of the whole team under their name. Each person have their own place with their name. On the left there are a bathroom and shower. There are an other room and in this room there are a massage table and some fitness machine and weights. The smell of hockey equiment in this room remember me the time when I was playing hockey.

I hope that one day I will have the chance to visit this beautiful place.

Memorable Event

My memorable event is an anecdote too.Its happened last winter , it was my last hockey game. We had nerver won a game against a certain team. We really hate to played against this team. Wherever we went , they were always there. One day we went to Montreal in tournament and we lost against this team in final. So , we didn't like this team. At our last game , both wanted to win because it was our last time against each other. There was so many people at the game and someone was recording our game. We were working so hard for won this game. It was 3-3 and two minutes to do at the third period. I was on the ice and a girl of my team shot the puck to the goal but the goalie stop it. I was in front of the goal and the puck returned in my skate , and I was so excited , so I pushed the puck in the goal with my skate. The goal didn't count because we can't make this. Whole my team were laughing at me. They said : 'we probably win if you take your stick!!!' Some of them remind me this event sometimes.
